🐴 Meet Tuff: Named after the famous Bull Rider Tuff Headman

Every horse at Heavens Ranch has a story, but Tuffs’ is one that reminds us why we do what we do.

Tuff—affectionately known as Grumpy pants—was part of a large rescue operation facilitated by MS Annee in collaboration with the City of San Bernardino. It was a massive effort to save over 30 horses in need, and when Annee met Tuff, she knew he was meant to be part of our journey.

We brought him home to Heavens Ranch, as a 2-year-old. MS Annee Broke and started him where he quickly became more than just a rescue—he became a vital Ranch Hand at the Original Heavens Ranch in Chino Hills, strength, resilience, and strong spirit earned his name Tuff. Tuff went on into Professional Cutting training and has mastered the art of showing in Ranch Riding and is now a Buena Park Officer and often is on duty patrolling Air Shows, Baseball games and even does Knotts Scary Farm.

Tuff is one of MS Anne’s favorite horses and will forever have a home in the heart of Heaven
