At Heavens Ranch, every horse has a story, but few carry the weight of legacy like our BLM Mustang, the last of 22 wild souls started by Ms. Annee, with the steady guidance of Tuff by her side.
This mare came from the rugged freedom of the Bureau of Land Management’s wild mustang program, untouched and untamed. Over time, under Annee’s patient hand and Tuff’s quiet strength, she learned trust, rhythm, and the language of partnership. She wasn’t just trained, she was understood.
Now, she’s in the care of Alia Whitney, one of Heavens Ranch’s original instructors. Alia’s connection to the ranch runs deep, and her bond with this Mustang is a beautiful continuation of the ranch’s mission: to honor the spirit of the horse and the people who believe in second chances.
